• Midwest: Deerfield, IL (Chicago area) covering Midwest territory
• West Coast: San Mateo, CA (Bay Area) covering Northern CA and Los Angeles/Orange County/San Diego covering Southern CA
• South: Texas

Job Overview:
BigMachines, Inc., a profitable, rapidly growing web software company (www.bigmachines.com) with offices in Deerfield, IL (Chicago north suburbs) and San Mateo, CA (Peninsula/Bay Area), is in search of high caliber Enterprise Sales Executives. The company has been growing 50-100% p.a., is led by a strong management team, and backed by strong financial investors, who are looking to accelerate the company’s growth to the next level.

Duties:

• This position is territory based, involving direct sales to end user customers.
• Drive sales of BigMachines solutions and services. Meet sales quota.
• Utilize BigMachines Value Realization Methodology and salesforce.com to manage sales processes.
• Leverage partners and existing customers in territory to support sales efforts.

Qualifications:

• High level of energy, persistence, discipline, and strong desire to do whatever it takes to win
• Desire and ability to generate leads through any and all available means including effective networking and phone calls
• Ability to evangelize a new powerful new technology and way of doing business
• Ability to quickly learn about the BigMachines solution and how this can meet customer needs
• Ability to sell consultatively by listening to customer needs and shaping a shared vision for a solution
• Ability to read, understand and navigate through complex political environments
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills both internally and externally

Desired Experience:
• 3-13 years experience in frontline business-to-business sales
• Proven ability to meet and exceed a sales quota consistently
• BS/BA from a reputable college or university; MBA helpful
• Proven success in selling enterprise software/technology and professional services is helpful
• Experience in business process improvement is helpful
